P.S./I.S. 226 has obtained 500 usernames and passwords to download free ebooks from their collection.
1. Let Mrs .Halpern know if you are interested in using this free resource. Many of the books we have in our library are available here so I know you will be interested. It is divided into 2 sections and each student may only request 1 username and password. The two sections are Elementary and Middle School. Upon looking at the titles I suggest using your reading level to decide. This is great for independent and enjoyment reading.

Caregiver creates a Noggin account via the webpage, gets an on-screen success message, and then receives a verification email.
Caregiver downloads the Noggin app via Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon App Store, or Roku.
Caregiver opens the Noggin app and signs in with the email and password they used to create their Noggin account.

Step 3. Check your inbox for a verification email (and verify your account). Be sure to check your junk/spam folder if you don't see it right away.
Step 4. Download the Noggin app on your mobile device(s) through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon App Store and/or Roku.
Step 5. Open the Noggin app and tap Sign In.
Step 6. Sign in using your Noggin account email and password.

MYON SUMMER READING
Myon has extended their free use of their program through the end of summer school. Follow the directions in the document below to be able to read books over the summer.
This is a free website where you can listen to many amazing stories.
We have obtained access to a comics and graphic novel database through the end of the school year called ComicsPlus.
There are three separate collections available:
*Elementary and Middle Schools will have KIDS (AGES 5+) - 1305 titles
*Middle Schools GR (AGES 9+) - 3576 titles
*High Schools will have KIDS + MID GR + TEEN/YA (AGES 13+) - 8304 titles
