Permission to Lead: A Special Visit from Dr. Marc Brackett

We were honored to host Dr. Marc Brackett, the founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and the lead developer of the RULER approach. Having him join our Student Ambassador Team meeting was like having the architect check out the building—a truly inspiring opportunity for our student leaders to showcase their hard work and commitment to emotional intelligence.            

✨ A Night Under the Stars: Literacy Night 2026

On February 5th, the hallways of P.S./I.S. 226 were transformed into a celestial celebration for our annual Literacy Night: A Night Under the Stars. It was an evening dedicated to the magic of reading, the power of storytelling, and the bright futures of our students.
